On this week’s adventure, we (Austin and Alex) headed to Lake Berryessa to test our new beautiful 20ft North River boat. We are calling her “Catch Happy HQ”. Look for her to be a star in our weekly adventures from now on. As to fishing today, the Trout bite has been very good the past couple of weeks. We were looking for limits but ended up with a fairly tough bite and strong winds. We did manage to hook and land two Trout and two Bass. We trolled Big Rapala lures and Speedy Shinners all day looking for those bigger trout. Covered a lot of water. All in all a great day on the new boat and catching a few fish. Until next time.
